As Jersey City begins to become more populated, it is especially important that we begin to recognize the value of our smaller stores, farmers markets, and restaurants. As someone who has lived in downtown JC her entire life and has watched it evolve into the beautiful city it is today, it's especially important to me to recognize and attract more residents to the small hidden stores located all around our city. Through this blog, you'll be introduced to several small businesses, their products and their mission. Follow along to help these businesses get more traction in our growing city and for yourself as you discover new places to shop and dine.

In addition, in coordination with the Women's Education Project, which focuses on helping marginalized women in India gain leadership skills and become change makers, we are hoping to attract businesses who would be interested in sponsoring our cause at their first ever Social Hackathon this year!
